The app itself is a free download; sign in with the email you bought with and any device is recognised. There is no free tier, no advertising, and nothing is sold on by us.

Organisation licences are sold directly by Big R Ag, LLC. Invoiced licences activate the moment the invoice is paid.

Install the app — free
Open app.app-op.com in any browser and add it to your home screen. When the native apps ship, the App Store and Google Play listings will be free downloads too.

Sign in with the same email
The licence is recognised on up to two devices per person. Organisation seats are assigned by email from the account page, and a pilot inherits the licence the moment they sign in.
Universities & research
Free research licences.
Universities and research groups testing a spread of aircraft produce precisely the broad, competent data that makes a shared library worth reading. We licence that work free for a year, under a written agreement covering data, publication and attribution.
Results join the same de-identified pool as every other subscriber's. No institution is named, and no row is presented as more authoritative than another.

Questions we actually get
Before you ask.
- Do I buy it in the App Store?
- No. Every licence is bought here on app-op.com, and the app is a free download — from app.app-op.com today, and from the App Store and Google Play as well once the native apps ship. Sign in with the email you bought with and it is recognised. Nothing is sold inside the app.
- Is there a free trial?
- There is no free tier. Whether a trial is offered at launch is still being decided — ask us and we will tell you where that landed.
- How many devices do I get?
- Two per person. You can see them, remove one, or sign out everywhere from the account settings, so a new phone takes a few seconds rather than a support ticket.
- Can I add seats later?
- Yes — from your account page, any time. Added seats are charged pro-rata for the remainder of your year and then renew with the rest. Reductions take effect at your next renewal.
- Can we pay by purchase order?
- Yes. Choose the invoice option when you buy: a net-30 invoice arrives by email with your PO number on it, payable by card or bank transfer, and the licence activates the moment it is paid.
- What if my renewal payment fails?
- Your licence stays active for 7 days while the card is retried. After that, new calibrations and the Community Library pause — your saved work stays open to view, print and delete — until the payment goes through.
- What happens if my licence lapses?
- Viewing, printing and deleting your saved work stay open the whole time. New calibrations and the Community Library wait until the licence is active again — and if anything was mid-upload when it lapsed, it's held, not lost, and finishes syncing once you're back.
- Do you sell my data?
- No. We do not sell data, show advertising, or run third-party tracking or analytics. Community sharing is opt-in and de-identified.
- Can one licence cover my whole operation?
- That is what the organisation licence is. You assign seats by email address and reassign them whenever your crew changes.
